Erin Van Fleet, better known as Very Something brings a sound that’s hard to define but impossible to forget. Blending house, techno, disco, and more, her sets are an energizing mix of genres designed to uplift and transport the crowd.
Her DJ journey started during quarantine, teaching herself to mix on a pair of a former partners CDJs in their living room. What began as a personal escape has evolved into a passion for creating spaces where people can let go, tune in, and just be in the moment.
Beyond playing clubs and events across Chicago, Erin helps run Open Decks nights at DMen Tap under the collective aBridgedBeats, giving new and emerging DJs their first chance to perform in public. She’s not just about the music—she’s about building a community and making space for others in the scene.
For Erin, it’s never just a party—it’s about creating something very real on the dance floor. A versatile and dynamic performer, she’s a solid addition to any lineup.
