Zora Murphy, or CTRLZORA behind the decks, has been a familiar face in the Chicago DIY scene...

Known for cofounding the HourNine collective and continuing to uplift marginalized gender-queer communities through the music that gave birth to the original Chicago club scene, CTRLZORA blends the classics of the past with modern tracks amplified by a spiritual connection to the music.

CTRLZORA is consistently spreading their love of House music throughout the city.

Just recently making their Smartbar debut, also performing alongside legendary Chicago DJs at The 18th (and final) "SilverRoom Sound System Block Party", and having just made an appearance at the popular "Wicker Park Fest" street fest (just to name a few shows) CTRLZORA maintains a busy DJ schedule, laying it down for enthusiastic crowds throughout Chicago clubs, festivals, and more intimate underground gatherings.
